The JHUI Teaching Masterclass is a full day of peer teaching, sharing and mentoring. It’s a chance for JHUI Teachers of all levels to get helpful feedback, renew their enthusiasm for teaching and connect with like-minded peers!
Note: minimum registration is 8 participants. If the minimum registration is not met, this class is subject to cancellation.
This special one-day event is divided into four Masterclass sessions, each with a unique theme (e.g. "Melody" or "Harmony" or "My Favourite Thing To Teach"). Each session includes two 30-minute segments during which a “Teacher Presenter” demonstrates his/her teaching strategy to the group and receives constructive feedback from James Hill and the class (see sample schedule here). Note: you are not required to present a teaching strategy at the Teaching Masterclass in order to attend. Being a Teacher Presenter is encouraged but entirely optional. As a bonus, your registration fee includes lunch and a coupon for 50% off auditing the JHUI Institute (held in the two days immediately following the JHUI Teaching Masterclass).
