Got Groove? (Percussion)
Clinician: Jamie Thomas
Lean how to make percussion part of your classroom sound. Jamie Thomas, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in percussion, will show you how to squeeze every last drop of rhythm out of basic percussion instruments like shakers, bongos, cabasas and maracas. Hands-on and fun!

Slap That Bass! (Double Bass)
Clinician: J. Chalmers Doane
Learn to play the big, big brother of the ukulele in this hands-on workshop with J. Chalmers Doane. Adding bass to your ukulele arrangements is a great way to fill out your sound. See what a difference a little bit of bass can make!

Arranging for Ukulele Ensemble (Arranging)
Clinician: Peter Luongo
If you've ever heard the Langley Ukulele Ensemble then you've heard how a great arrangement can bring out the best in any piece of music. In this workshop, Langley Ukulele Ensemble Director Peter Luongo shows you some of the secrets behind sound of his world-famous ensemble.

Swing, Ukulele Swing (Jazz Ukulele)
Clinician: James Hill
It's time to make some sweet-sounding swingin' sounds. Swing chords are easy to play and they sound oh-so fabulous. Your uke will thank you and your strumming will never be the same again. You'll learn your first swing tune in five minutes and we'll take it from there. Handouts provided.

Acoustics, Intonation and Tone (Instrument Clinic)
Clinicians: Gordon and Char Mayer (Mya-Moe Ukulele Co.)
Want to improve the playability and tone of your ukulele?  Or maybe you're interested in understanding the affects of wood and body shape on the voice of your instrument?  Then this is the workshop for you!  Gordon & Char Mayer, the luthiers who make Mya-Moe Ukuleles, will also address various brands of strings and their affect on feel and sound.
